Current events or current affairs is a special form of broadcast journalism in which emphasis is placed on the detailed analysis and discussion of recent events.
Current affairs is a genre of broadcast journalism in which major news stories are discussed at length in a timely manner.
This differs from regular news broadcasts that place emphasis on news reports presented for simple presentation as soon as possible, often with a minimum of analysis.
That is, any incident that has happened recently or any program that has happened in the present and the discussion about it is called current affair.
Many types of incidents come in this, like there is an election in our country, there is a cricket match, there is a war on the border, that is, any special incident which is discussed through many mediums like newspapers etc.
Right now there is a war between China and India, so this topic can also be called a current affair.
